Inshore fishing on the Georgia Coast can be excellent, especially during the Fall, Winter and Spring and sometimes the Summer months. Take a look at the pictures and options below. If you like fishing in calm water with lots of scenery and photo opportunities, this trip is for you!
Above, are the awards pictures for the 2010 Redbone Tournament for Cystic Fibrosis. These anglers had the most red fish for a one and tournament total. They caught 96 reds the first day and 55 reds the second day! WOW!!!!
Above, Professional Redfish Guide Capt. Ashley Parmelee displays a Fall trout from a river in the "Backcountry" areas of Sea Island. These fish become a regular catch during certain tide levels around oyster shell beds in our area. Excellent Trout and Redfishing can be found in the mouth of Sounds during certain times of the year and tide levels. If "keeper" fish are on your agenda, this trip will normally fit the bill. Catching Flounder is always a possiblity while inshore fishing our Backwater areas! This Flounder fell victim to a live mullet in 2 ft. of water near a shell rake. |
